The highest body of cooperative is the Assembly, consisting of all cooperative members. Each has one vote and decisions are made democratically, usually by majority of votes.

Cooperative Assembly:

  • adopts cooperative rules,
  • elects and dismisses the cooperative manager
  • decides on distribution, utilization and coverage of losses,
  • makes a cooperative financial report,
  • elects and dismisses the Supervisory board, i.e. other bodies
  • decides on establishment and accession to the cooperative association,
  • decides on other issues, anticipated by the

Agreement on the establishment of cooperatives, Cooperative regulations and act. Cooperative manager/management conduct cooperative business by implementing Assembly decision, represents the cooperative, and business decisions, that fall within the scope of regular activities, are made by the manager independently. The manager also has the obligation to establish, keep and permanently store the cooperative directory.
